Flashman
I still want to get out, maybe I'll do a little shore fishing instead...need bullheads too, I suppose I could go catch some of them. It would be nice to get a big fat kitty though, I better check the weather channel one more time. The radar doesn't look good, I guess I'll be fishing for some bullies close by home.[This message has been edited by Flashman (edited 07-09-2003).]

Flashman
Well decided against hitting the river but I did decide to go after some bullies. First cast brought in a large mouth bass, shortly there after I had perch, sunnies but still no bullies. Then I managed a small carp, 15 inches or so, followed by a huge carp that had no problem burning line off the spool but eventually spit the hook. I did manage a couple of small bullies, too small for bait and I ended the short little fishing trip with a big snapper; at least 20 inches across. She was hooked good so instead of letting her spool me I just brook off. I was out of hooks and the rain had just started but it was a great 45 min of fishing. DarkI'm planning on getting some bullies for Friday, where do you want to meet? I should be able to be at 169 Sports by 5:30 maybe earlier. If you want to meet someplace else just let me know.
