I am looking to get a new portable ice house that has 1 or 2 seats that can come off and fit in the back of my truck. Also with a sled that I can lay my stuff in and carry it onto the lake. One thats light enough to lift and get out of my truck by myself. Looking for one about $200-$300 or so.

I'm looking at the trekker 6120. Do you know if it would fit in the back of an SUV. Jeep Gr. Cherokee? Also, how easy is it to set up when you get it out? This would be my first portable.

Just bought a trekker 6120 and it fits in the back of my

97 Olds Silhouette GLS even with the 2 bucket back seats in place.

Only the rear seats are pulled out. Then I slid the

seats forward a couple a notches and it fits fine. It is far

easier to handle then my old Polar Sport Nordic, about 30lbs

lighter.

I meant that you could take the seats off the portable and id probably put them in my back seat. I have a tonneau cover in back, dont have lot of room and just wondering which ones come off.

The Trekker seats foldup and you place them inside the tub with no problems.

I got a frabill triplex last year, and though it is an AWESOME unit, I'm not a flipover kind of guy...i've always fished in a cabin type....the triplex has 3 comfortable seats, pulls easy with enough storage for equipment for 3 guys....just wish it was a cabin type
