Hey Dennis,

What critera's have to be met in your state for one to become a fishing guide?
I have been led to beleave that to aquire a fishing guides license on all federally designated navigable waters in the U.S. one first must write and pass a U.S. Coast Guard examine. Guides must also be certified and trained with CPR.
Without having complete the above, I don't think that one can aquire any form of liability insurance. Without liability insurance you'd be subjecting yourself to a potencial disaster.

Before anyone decides you want a piece of the action make sure that you're not setting yourself up for a very punishing fall! Check with the proper authorities and get the facts.
