Scabs on top of paws?

Just notice yesterday that my lab has scabs or callus like markings on top of his paws. They are about the size of a dime or smaller. He is 10 months old. Is it possible he is chewing on them? I havent seen them bleeding or anything but they are quite noticeable. Any input would be appreciated.

Check with your Vet. My older lab has allergies and to relieve the itching on his tongue he licks his feet and the carpet. When its really bothering him I give him one Benadryl tablet. The sores can also get worse if your dog is licking his paws because of anxiety. Ken

Is the dog in an outdoor cement kennel? If so maybe it is from an abrasion or some reaction to a cleaning chemical residue.
