When I took my deep charge battery out of the boat a couple days ago, I noticed that the lead around one of the posts was blackened, like it got smokin' hot. Also, the side of the plastic battery casing around that post looked like it was subject to alot of pressure because it was slightly bulging out. So it looked like it shorted out or something. Anyway, I haven't tried to put a charge onto it because I don't know if it is safe to do so. Would there still be pressure built up in the case? Do you think my battery is toast?
I am so very sorry to hear this and so sorry for the loss of Chamois. She was beautiful companion.
We will always miss the dogs we have lost. Unfortunately we lost both of our dogs just 6 days apart in November.
