Question
cold one sd
I have a friend that builds a new drop down every year in the state where he lives and then he comes to my state, ice fishes all winter and sells the ice house when he goes home. The one he has this year is a 6 1/2'x10' with 3" channel iron trailer frame and 1" square steel tubing for wall and roof framework. It has a v front and the door in the back so you can haul an atv. I believe he said it weighs about 1,200 lbs and can pe pulled with an atv with IRS. I haven't asked if he has a stove for cooking or not, but it doesn,t have bunks or anything. It does have a 10<ooo btu heater.I believe it has aluminum sheeting for siding and a one piece aluminum roof which rolls over the edges and is attached to the sides. I have always read on here that steel tubing is best for the framework on the trailer. Do you think this would be worth taking a shot at when he sells it? I think I can get it for about $3,500.00.
