I got an e-mail from a friend today with a few pictures of this giant catfish! I'll try and find out all the details and I'll let you know...just thought I'd share it with all of you cat hunters...

This fish is from the Ebro River in Spain...154lbs and over 7 feet long. Kind of a different looking tail but thats all Catfish!

MJ5, please let me know where that CAT was caught...I do not want to go swimming in that river. I could fit in that things mouth!

It's a Wells Catfish/Eel

They do grow huge, but like anywhere, the really big ones are rare due to pollution/over harvest/habitat loss. They are found in europe (Mainly Spain & France) and I believe they are protected now.

Release the med & big ones in our rivers for all to enjoy.
