metro ducks

Any one been having any luck in the metro area? If so what kinds of ducks are you seeing so i can have a better idea of what deeks to take out. Thinking about going out this long weekend. Thanx

do some scouting... when you find the birds the majority will likely be mallards.

planed on doing some scouting today. will get to hunt thursday through wednesday hope to shoot some green heads. Thanx again for the info.

i also live in belleplaine. you can find some ducks around that area, but alot more geese. we should hook up sometime if interested. 612-201-1459

I wouldn't duck hunt next Wed., the season closes Tues.

Like the others have said, mostly mallards and geese around now. If it was cold like it should be by now, the river would be the spot to go, but the other waters are open again. Hopefully it gets cold enough to ice some things up for the last couple days and concentrate the birds on the flowing water.

went scouting on wednesday found some birds here and there. Saw a few more people then expected for a wednesday mornig. About the hunting wednesday that was a mistake got to work wednesday but thanx for pointing that out.
