Catfish-Homemade recipies-Do you have any

I do a lot of fishing on a lake that was stocked with channel cats, and from talking to people I know there is a lot of
"secret" recipes out there for chumming, stinkbait, and for doughballs that are just deadly for catfish.

If you know any of recipes?
How do I make them? and
Where can I get the supplies?

sounds like your ready to test the drag!! When I was a kid in Texas, There was old man that ran trot lines and limb lines all up and down the river. He gave us $2 each for all the Cottonmouth snakes we could bring him. He fished for meat and was very serious about getting it. Us kids would always stop by his fishin shack near the river to see if he was around and what he got the night before. I remember he used alot of Goldfish for bait but also used his homemade dough bait.

It took awhile but he finally told me the recipe. He also made me swear not to tell anyone else...Well that was 30 years ago so I'm sure hes not fishing (by that river anyway) anymore.

Take a loaf of bread and tear the crust off. Mix in a can of creamed corn. Add wheaties until you have the right goo texture. Now the secret...put in some black licorice extract and serve!

He skinned and tanned um. We just had fun gettin um...I could have been bittin a few times but never did. They don't make any noise like a rattlesnake so you have to see them first. A well placed BB through the top of the head and you got another 2 bucs!
