Two way radios

I am going to buy a set of the two way radios to use for ice fishing & just plain goofing off when the fish are not biting. Does anyone know if you can get a base station that will scan all the channels used by these small handheld radios? I am thinking a 12 volt unit in the big house would be great with a couple of the hand helds for when out in the portable.

I have two pairs of Motorola Two-way radios that will scan all of the channels themselves. You may not have to get a base station.

Ive got the cobra microtalks and they scan themselves also

no need for a base station!!!

I guess I should have said it before, do any of these units charge off of the deepcycle batt in my fishhouse? Or do you just buy a bunch of bateries?

A small inverter connected to your batteries will allow you to charge your handheld radios using the 110 volt chargers that came with them.

My Midland radio charger base has a separate cord to plug into a lighter socket and another that plugs into 110. You can use either one you need. They also have the scan function.

Hey there...hate to piggy back on this question but where did you get your Cobra handheld's at? Any specific number/"style"?
