house liscence what do ya all do?

My eskimo has a license holder- i just bought a piece of black construction paper and used the reflective numbers for house addresses this works great!!!!

MDNR#12345-67-89 or just the #

I am pretty DNR number stay the same. I had a mix-up on my firearm safety, way back when I took the class in 94, they used Tom for my middle name instead of Thomas and it changed the number. Then this year, getting a deer tag, I had a problem because the number wasn't tied into my old or new license number and they couldn't verify I had the certificate. I should also note that the card I received when I took the class melted in my wallet, seems to be somewhat of a common occurance with those cards, so I didn't have my card. Luckily I was able to give a call to the DNR and get it all straightened out, and the number stayed the same as the old license.

If they are going to question if it is a MN license they can figure that part out when they closer.

Found out the hard way about having the DNR number shown, $96 later, I have my number and license on a piece of lexan that can be moved from the portable and the hard side easily. The explanation for having the number besides just the license was they could identify you from a distance.

I am one of those that forget stuff all the time. So I buy a lic. for both. Because I know I will forget to move it from house to house. I figure 2 lic. at 12.50 each, one for the portable and one for the perm, is cheaper than the fine.

Instead of buying 2 different licenses you can buy 1 and also get a replacement tag. Its cheaper that way.

I did something similar to Sandmannd - I typed mine up in Word, printed it off, and took it to Kinkos. For something like $2, I had it laminated and I took a big safety pin and stuck it on the front of my Voyager. Works like a charm and folds up in the canvas when I'm done.
