Water temps om Tonka yesterday were 33-35 degrees, and I believe it will take at least two nights of temps in the teens with no wind to start freezing any of the bigger lakes.I think we will have at least one more week of open water.

My guess is that with this weather we are looking at least until the end of November for any kind of ice. Maybe some of the very small lakes/ponds will freeze up - but we are still looking at mild temps here all through this weekend. Kind of a bummer cause I was hoping for an outside chance at getting out over the Thanksgiving weekend...
