Metro Stocked Channel cats in small lakes?

I was flipping through the DNR's stocking reports and noticed that several Metro area ponds and small lakes were stocked with Channel Catfish by either the City or the DNR. Such lakes like Tanners; and a few small lakes in Eagan. I was wondering if anyone has ever caught these channel catfish out of these small ponds and lakes? And where to find them? It would be nice to find a cat hole with small to mid sized channels that I can actually EAT the fish. They taste great in the pan. (Personally.. I like good flavored catfish over Walleye.. but err.. don't tell any other Minnesotan I said that, eh?)
