West River Hunting

I'm heading to Bell to hunt on a buddy's ranch with no tag. My boy drew a double any deer tag, so I,m on camera duty. Good luck guys!

I got anydeer tags in Perkins county, I think shade hill will be where I spend most of my time.

My buddy is heading out the same way and staying in a cabin on the lake. Any idea as to what he can expect? They drew WT tags, but have never been out to that area.

I also have any deer tags for perkins. we hang out around lodgepole. Last year many deer died off during summer of some disease or so the ranchers say anyway. We usually see good numbers but last deer saw few in that general area. wonder how it will be this year. Another of my buddies hunts perkins in another area and said numbers were good last year. We'll see i guess.

I saw plenty of deer in western Perkins county earlier this year when I was antelope hunting. Mostly Whitetails, but a few mulies around.

Well i don't know how it will be this year, but last year my cousin and I both shot nice whitetail bucks. Around the Shade hill area where we hunted, it seemed to be filled with a lot of young deer. We'll see if it's worth sacraficing a weekend of awesome canadian and green head hunting.

I hear you on that. we shot our 10 greenies and 2 big honks saturday evening. Should be real good this weekend. the lady that usually lets us hunt might not let us this year. She says its too dry. That will suck! So, i just might be waterfowl hunting and or coyote hunting here instead. I hope we change her mind.
