Hunting Boots

The Yeti

Question

My bear claws have seen better days. Looking to buy new boots. Wifey told me about some Irish Setters, 800 grams Thinsulate, Gore Tex, on sale at Cabelas. I have been very happy with the Bear Claws. Opinions? Any suggestions? The big difference here is all Cordura -vs- Cordura/Leather mix.

Irish Setters are good boots. I believe manufactured by Red Wing Boots. I know the pair you speak of. Almost bought some for myself, but the Danners are still like new, need to hunt more I guess. Was thinking about the Setters for ice fishing though.
