Skids - source??

Does anyone have a good source for white oak skids? Looking for new skids for 16' & 20' permanents. Just researching right now. Thanks!

the only place I have heard of is Isle discount supply in isle. Have no idea on price but you could check there and they might be able to point you in the right direction.

I'm sure Young Blood Lumber in Minneapolis can fit your needs. The other lumber yard that comes to mind is Lake Elmo Lumber, but I've only delt with exotic lumber through them.

Give Anderson Sawmill a call in Wadena. They saw a lot of white oak. They may be able to custom make your skids for you.

I would try any of the ice outfitters on Mille Lacs(i.e. Fisherman's Wharf, FM-Millelacs's, Twin Pines, McQuoid's, etc.). Although they may not have them personally, I would be sure they would know where to find them.
