Woo hoo my first band, plus a hunting report

We were on our annual hunt at Lac qui parle last weekend and I got my first goose band. The goose was 12.8 lbs, I haven't called the # yet to get the tagging info. The cool thing was it had a band on each leg. One leg had a serial number and a phone number to call for info. The other leg had a band that said reward $100. The CO I talked to said to ask where to send it when I call for info on the other band and they will send me a check for $100. It is the sweetest $100 I have ever made.

Now for the report, 6 of us got 9 geese and 18 pheasants over 2 and half days. Not bad for my pointer puppies first pheasant hunting ever. I sure can't wait to go back again next year Now its deer hunting time
