Hey guys, I'm Chuck. I'm a flathead fanatic from Indiana. I'm going to be viting my parents in Janesville Wis. on vacation this year in the last week of July/first week of August. My parents and I are looking for a resort or cabin to stay at in Minnesota for the week. I'm looking for something close to prime flathead waters, with weekly boat and motor rental. Any help you can give would be greatly appricated. Thanks, Chuck.

Wow! Someone who wants to come to Minnesota to fish Flatheads...cool!

We can sure find you some options! Turns out theres a catfish contest you may be interested in here on the Minnesota river Aug 3-4. Most of the cats that come in are Flatheads with many in the 30lb range and a few 40lb+!

You may also be interested in a more scenic part of the state like the St. Croix river area...theres good fishing there as well. Either way, we'll find ya some water!

I also am a Hoosier (Fort Wayne). Been living in Minnesota for four years now and I'm never going back!!!!!

Cold...schmold!

The outdoor life up here more than makes up for the cold winters.

Anyway, I don't know of too many resorts up here on the river with boat rentals except Everts Resort in Red Wing. It is on the Mississippi and I believe they have their own web site.
