lawdog
What a great area to hunt (well other than one group of hillbilly backward rednecks who wanted to fight us because we were "F...ing out of staters" where they wanted to hunt). I got this elk Monday night in area 66 and I couldnt' be happier! Glad I bought the tire chains and glad I rejetted the four wheeler. Both got a big workout this week! lawdog
Its posted in the deer/bear/moose section outdoor...As for muleys, we didn't see a single deer while hunting, however on the drive from the cabin back to the paved road, we looked up and saw what appearred to be a tree sitting on a hill top...until it turned its head! Good grief the thing was as big as any I've seen on TV and it just sat on this hillcrest where it could see for miles and watched us go by. We stopped and got the spotting scope out and drooled over him for several minutes before proceeding. He was a monster!!! VERY hard to get tags for them in this area though. One guy had 8 points and still hasn't drawn...
