Anybody else been out?

Took the kayak out fishing Saturday evening in the Lindstrom area. Brrrrrrrrr, wasn't too bad for the first few hours but then my feet started to burn - that stage right before they go numb. Fishing was okay, hoping to get out a few more times before the ice comes.

Packed mine away for the season a couple weeks ago. Just never

get enough time and its been so cool and windy. Looking forward

to getting out again next spring. Time to change gears and

start thinking about snow and ice.

Took an hour long paddle on the Chain of Lakes last saturday, before tucking it away for the winter. Perfect calm mirror surface afternoon.
