Burn Holes in Yukon Door

Last year on Winnie the door on my Yukon got blown into the heater. What's the best way to fix it. Is there a repair kit or do I need to take it to a upholstery shop. This has to have to have happen to someone out there. Any advice?

TDK,

Yes thats what I would do. 2 years back a buddy and myself took both our houses that were a year or two old and had a link installed between the two houses. My buddy had a few mice holes in his and the shop fixed them all up for him.

BTW the link turned out perfect and turned our two man portable into a four man portable. We kept the flap on the back so we can fish alone also.

First of all, how big of a hole did it the heater create in the material? If its reasonable in size, like 6 x 6" or smaller, call CLAM, and they will send out a patch, then take a can of 3M #77 spray adhesive and fix the hole. You'll have to have the room temp about 60 degrees or warmer for the spray, lay the material out flat, spray on the edges of the burnt area, trim the edges but leave enough to overlap, once dry, I would spray on the outside edge to seal the deal.

I fixed a hole last year on two Pro's and this year on the travel cover for one of them. Good luck!
