How wet around Morson?

I am headed up to the Morson area on Saturday October 21 for a week and I wondered if it has been dry enough that I will be able to gather burnable firewood for my shore lunch, or if I should plan on bringing a gas burner with me.

Well, up until October you could have burned anything, it was a severe drought. But over the past 10 days there has been a lot of rain and snow, so things are damper.

Still, finding wood shouldn't be a problem. Just wait for the wind to dry it out!!

We got a inch or so of snow on the ground right now and it is lightly snowing still. Not sure how huch we are supposed to get but I imagine it will get everything nice and wet. So I think a gas burner would be a great idea. Good luck
