New Largie Record?

Heard this weekend that there was a 9 pound 6 ounce Largie taken from Roy this last week. Supposedly a new state record. Any truth to this? Man thats a fatty!

The last I heard was that GF&P still had to certify the scale

Great to hear. This is the first I have heard of a new record. Hopefully it is true. I know that lake gives up some large fish every year.
