Rivers' Edge Climber?

Are you talking about the one that folds flat and has a couple of metal Vs that bolt on?

I had one and it is very stable and grabs the tree great. it was nice to slide the cusion towards the front for climbing and then towards the tree for sitting and waiting.

It is heavy(29 pounds I think) and noisy to set up, but with practice, effort and time you can get it in the tree with less noise. Thinking back I made more noise walking through leaves than setting it up.

I gave mine to a friend with an understanding that I might want it back sometime, maybe not.

I bit the bullet and spent the big $ for a 14 pound Summit climber and love it, so far...

I have one, plan to sit in it tonight. It is fairly heavy, but very stable & quite comfortable. As long as the tree you put it in is big enough it's a very safe stand too. If you buy one get some camo duck tape & tape a piece of pipe insulation around the front bar of the seat half, it will save on the knees. I need to do that, but I only remember when I'm in the woods & can't do anything about it.

I've take two deer with it so far. Well one with the first one, that was stolen, & one with the replacement. I'll be taking it out of the 4th different tree it's been in this year tonight, to use in WI this weekend, so it is still quite portable.
