An idea for rope lights

I have the 7' long L.E.D. rope lights from Gander. I bought some 1/2" C channel 8' long and put the lights in it. This way I can use it on my boat up in the bimini cover for night fishing and in my suitcase fishouse also. I have two sets of lights and it lights up the house great. Each C channel costs about 6 bucks.You can get it at any home improvement store. my lights used to curl up. Now all the bulbs face down and are nice and straight. Thought I'd share the Idea. Do you have any pics of your setup? How much were the rope lights?

Unfortunately my camera is being repaired right now. The lights were about 10 bucks at Gander last year. The C channel is alluminum. I just used 4 zip ties to make sure it doesn't fall out. Works sweet. I can post pics as soon as Best Buy calls.
