Moving holes in ice house?

I have once before on a used house I bought that had a wasted floor plan.

1). I laid plywood same depth of floor over the existing hole

2). Got underneath it and traced the holes diameter & cut pattern on the bottom side of the plywood over the hole.

3). My existing holes were boxed in on all sides by the frames design so I just measured the area and cut out a new square.

4). I screwed the new sub floor square on the underside into the existing floor. It was about 3" wider then the hole all around.

5). I cut out the new cover from the hole I traced on the underside. Put the new cover in the hole inside the house and screwed it to the new subfloor underneath I attatched.

6). spread some rubber roof sealer I had laying around along the seam of the hole cover and that was it.

Recarpeted after all holes were refilled and new ones relocated.
