Rainy River, Pine Island Nat'l Forest Grouse?

Has anyone been chasing birds up around the Rainy River, Birchdale, Pine Island Nat'l Forest? Going up next weekend and wondering if the numbers are up in that area as well?

I have heard the numbers are up, but I don't know about that area. Usually Pine Island area takes longer than Ray/Kabetogama/Big Falls area to climb in numbers. I do know that the Big Falls area has been seeing quite a few grouse, just on the other side of the Pine Island State Forest. Range Road, and Ben Lynn Road are good ones to hit. I would imagine that you would have pretty good success down there though.
