light reicipe for perm fish house

Here is the light reicipe I used with sweet results...

This is a 6.5x18 drop down shack

Two deep cycles run in parallel,

Six light fixtures, two ceiling lights with 2 led 7 bulb light bulbs in them, and four wall sconces with one led 7 bulb in each sconce,

My lights have been on since 23rd of sept with 2 computer fans runing on a timer.

my battery is at 85% after one week with every thing runing and I think it should go for one more week,

I just thought I should post this for people that don't want to be charging all the time

Where did you get the lights?? I have been wanting to switch my lights to LED in the shack and want to make sure, for the money, I have enough light when the switch is made to LED. I have a 6.5x14 with a v nose. There are three twin fixtures up top and one light outside...Thanks.

Google super bright Led's, In your three twin fuxtures I would make sure you have at least 15-20 count led per bulb, and on your out side light a 20-30 count led bulb, As you know it will cost more up front but save you from charging all the time and the led bulbs will last 100,000,00 hours or more and draw in milla amps

After it was all said and done, I should have put in one more over head light with one more 15 led bulb.

That would have made it nice and bright now it's good but like I stated one more would have been the ticket.

Deepportage, what are you using for a timer? is it 12V?

Its an Allen bradly 12v timer bought on hsolist, I think it was made for yard lights but not sure. Live well timers work very well also.

Yep, that is what I use is a live well timer.

Expensive but nice.

What base to they put in an Ice Castle. Is it the 1157 or 1156 base bulb?

I would say it is a 1147 which is the standard for RV lights. That is what we put in our units.

I'm not sure, I don't keep up on that brand of ice house lighting bases, I'm not nocking it I just don't know

Anyone tried the T10 PCB series LED Lamps from the same www.

They look like this.

THey look as if they would direct all of the light downward.

That one has a 100° beam pattern which would direct light to the sides as well. The light bars mentioned above (LB1) have 90° patterns which is quite wide also.
