Feather Duster Goose Call

Recommended Posts

Anybody have one? I tried one at scheels in fargo the other day and it sounded great. The things that I am wondering about is what is dymondwood? The salesman told me it was laminate. Does this mean it will contract and expand with the changing weather? Will it chip? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I emailed and asked about their Diamondwood.. here is his response..

"Now to answer your question about Dymondwood. It is a wood that is impregnated with dye to achieve the desired color. The wood is then laquered with an acrylic and pressed under tremendous pressure and dried. The result is a layered acrylic wood that has the tonal qualities of both acrylic and wood. It is really dense so the expansion and contraction is less than with regualar wood and since it has the acrylic layering, it is very resistant to moisture and temperature influxes."
