The 1 2 & 3rd place guys from last year all missed the chase this year. WOW! Could have gotten all kinds of bets if you would have wanted to bet the 20 would be out before that race started...

I have to admit I was quite surprised and happy with the classy way Tony handled that interview after the race. For such a spoiled brat, he really handled that well and I commend him for it. He gained some respect from me there.

I bet he had time to cool down and knew his chances were pretty slim since he was already in a back up car that they just could not seem to get to work for them on the track. Tough break...but those kinds of things happen. I too was surprised a bit that he was so calm.

hard to belive that the chase was so close at the end with only 3 points separating 8th to 10th and another 16 for 11th. Definitely some drama there, but I still think this chase thing is not the right thing...give more points for a win but let's go 36 races. We'd see a decent Bristol night race, possibly get Darlington back on Labor day since california wouldn't be anywhere near as big of a draw (It's low now, but it would be lower yet) being so close to the chase.

It was nice to see some drama this year with the in and out of 11th place.

Was he not quoted earlier this season about how if he didn't make the Chase he should be fired as a driver?!
