Sartell Angler
Do you have any openings in marketing or sales at your company? I graduate at the end of this school year, want to live in the Fergus area, and would be willing to join you on these lunch break hunts... Let me know, Sartell Angler ps- here is a pic of our take (2 man) for opening day here (23 doves)...got 32 the next day for 3 guys. Some great eating! Smear on some chopped garlic, wrap in bacon, and throw 'em on a hot grill! Goes great with Mich. Golden Light.

knoppers
Sartell Anglergreat shootin. what do you hunt over or around? I have noticed many birds sitting on power lines over corn fields.
Sartell Angler
we do a little of both, but mostly waiting along power lines or a row of pine trees with dead ones mixed in. If the lines are adjacent to sunflower fields or poor-growth cornfields you are usually money. We walk some of the corn as well and can usually jump some that way but nothing beats a decoying shot--lot higher shooting percentage when they are decoying. Finding concentrations of birds is the tough part, but once you do you are in for a treat. Usually if I see 5 or more on a powerline I know it is a worthwhile place to hunt because the field will likely be loaded with them. Good luck.SA/wdw
