"Walk -The -Dog" Leaders

I'm curious to hear what leader length, strength, and material folks are using for Jackpots and other "walking" surface lures.

I use 12" 174# .029" single strand wire ones that I make myself. #4 stay-lok snap and 175# Crane swivel.

My kid fishes walkers all the time (I'm lazy and fish prop baits) and uses 10" 90# single strand wire with either a crosslok snap or the new stay lok. On some we use a ball bearing swivel in case he throws another lure on that might spin, on others he goes without the swivel.

I have just started using flourocarbon leaders for my giant jackpots, docs & Weagles. I am not sure what brand but they are 120 lb I believe (someone told me not to get anything less than 100lb). They work well because they are lighter and they don't affect the side to side motion and they help keep the nose up a little.
