North Lake Lodge/Longlegged Lake

Our group is considering making a reservation at North Lake Lodge on Longlegged Lake. Have you been there? If so, please share your thoughts, pro or con. Thanks.

Haven't been there, but things I have heard.....

a. Very Good fishing, especially Musky

b. very difficult to get to, requires an awful road and a nasty travel by water over rocks and current

c. Resort is way overpriced considering the above

Hope you have deeeep pockets!! Like Brian said it is VERY expensive. We were there in 2000 and it was $120.00 per person per day and we brought our own food and cooked our own meals. The fishing was ok, but you drive by A LOT of good waters on your way there including LOW, Eagle, Lac Suel, Cliff, Cedar just to name a few. There are lots of better lakes that are a lot cheaper!
