Getting Ready for Ice season

I started thinking about getting out the portable and checking things over soon.I also looked at my gear and lures and see that I need more of those Optic stealth jigs from Little Atom lures.I also will stop buy JB lures in Winthrop,Mn and pick out some of the new jigs.After checking out my Structure on a String from LaDredge Outdoors I may also need to order a few more.

It seems that every winter I wait to long and when I want to order my ice season needs that alot of companies are out of some of thier items along with the newer ones.

I cannot wait for the hard water season to start.Now all I need is my new Marcum and a new ice fishing suit.

If your portable needs help then it is also time to order those items for your house while the supplies are good and on hand.

If someone is thinking about some custom modifications to thier portable then it might pay off well to attend Matt Johnsons get-together on Sept.23 and see what can be done on your own.Someone always has some great ideas.

It is closer than we think.

My dad & I put out the goose decoys this weekend. We got 1. Nothing spectacular but we were huntin' and it was 80some degrees with bluebird skies.
