DTro
Weather.......Bad Fishing.......Good! I don't even want so say how many fish we whiffed on Braved the rain with LFC last night and each boated a nice fish: LFC--->29lb DTro-->36lb Couple other fish mixed in.......fun night! Pay no attention to that goofy looking rectangular area on the head. I had to do a little editing to block out a control item for on online contest I entered it in. Guest
We got chased off the croix last night with a flickering sky shortly after we got there We did get one fat channel minutes after we got there with the rain moving in. We relocated to shore fishing the mississippi river and th harder it rained the better the fish bit.. and they were fighting hard.. ultra active. We fished early morning to mid day yesterday with minimal results. Plenty of bites, but it was quick nibbles and the fish was gone, bait barely showing signs of being hit. The front(rain) obviously turned the fish on. Fish are unpredicatble creatures. Sometimes the bite is phenominal with major fronts... other times you just get wet. hanson
Hey Darren-We both have that theory of bad weather = big flats on the feed. Looks like you proved the theory a little more.Nice fish man! I'm still looking for a 30 pound something this year.
harvey lee
Looks to me like I should have been fishing cats in the rain instead of trying to get a deer.Deer hunting just doesnt seem to work well in the rain. Darren, nice fish again.
