finesse

I have had zero luck using hardnose finesse worms. Can anyone give me some hints using them. I've tried them in rivers and lakes of all sizes when I can't get a bite an anything else. I usually just texas rig them with no weight and I was told by a few guys on another forum that that is a good way. any tips?

i've also had good luck using finese worms on a stupid rig too.

I don't know if this is a stupid question or not, but what's a stupid rig?

if you go back a page or two, there are pictures of it. it is simply a modified carolina rig. a plastic of some sort,and a small weight pegged/crimped on the line 12-18 inches above the lure. let it settle to the bottom and work it back.
