Making Venison ring sausage

I have made "Country Style" seasoned vension ring sausage in the past but cannot remember how long to "smoke" the rings or how to tell when they have been smoked enough in the smoker.Anyone able to share their experiences in making Venison ring sausage and then smoking them in a smoker????? Thanks for any reply!!

I smoke mine 4 - 6 hours at about 100 degrees. Mine seem to turn a rosy color.

With a heavy smoke 4 hrs is about right. It depends on how much smoke flavor you like though.
