tree saddle

anyone ever use the tree saddle for bowhunting.

I looked into them last year.. didn't buy one yet.. but they do look somewhat slick..

a tree saddle is a item you wear.. kinda like a safty harnes, but way better.. and you then just hang facing the tree. I have tried one in a store, I thought it would be tough to shoot from, but its not. The advantage is you can "walk" around the tree and keep the tree between you and the deer.

no stand at all... you end up putting a few tree steps in the tree to stand on and you sit in the harness. Which is one of the advatages, you dont have to carry in a tree stand if you have one a long ways back in the sticks.. we normally do not allow pictures of non-sponsor products... but a pict is worth 1000 words, this is what one looks like in use.

Interesting!! Another nice one that I have not used but looked into is the tree lounge!!! Looks like a pretty awesome setup. Anyone ever use a tree lounge??

Thanks Deitz thats very intresting,I'm going to have to look into a tree saddle.I venture into the woods sometimes 3-5miles and not having to carry a stand would be a big plus and it also looks like you could almost use it as harness to drag out that monster buck .Thanks again for the info. Great pic it is easy to see what you mean. any estimate on what they might cost.

Will looking at the tree bark get old after a while? or do you just move around the tree to keep from getting bored looking at the same bark patch?
