Field hunting near road

I'm looking at some fields, but there near country roads! Just wondering if someone could tell how far off of a road someone has to be to hunt a field!

Yep, you can hunt county and township ditches/right of ways.

so your telling me that if I'm field hunting geese or ducks I can hunt just ten feet into a field away from a ditch? I thought it had to be aleast 100ft or something like that!

You can hunt in the right of way, but you are not allowed to ever shoot across a road of any size. The point being is that whether you are on a county highway or a township gravel road, make sure you are shooting away from the road.
