Camp Holiday

Anybody ever stay at this campground on Turtle lake near Garrison? Heading up there next weekend and just looking for some general knowledge about the facility and the lake(s). Thanks in advance for any replies.

jigstick44 I was hoping some one else would answer your post because its been along time since we camped there probly close to 15 years. But I'll tell you what I remember. Very nice resort good for camping, the tent and rv sites were close to the lake. The resort was family friendly towards children. The lake is small but there was a channel you could navigate by small boat to another lake. That was small also. Fishing was small sunfish which kept the kids happy and right off shore. Small northerns and bass. Couldn't tell you about the size of the bass though. My kids were small then and we did enjoy the experience. But this was along time ago. Maybe someone else can give you a more current discription. As far as fishing remember that Bay and Mille Lacs is just a stone throw away. Hope you have a good time Bobcat 45

I know the owners, sort of, and they are really nice. The area is great. Mile Lacs is just down the road if you want to try for Walleyes and I think you can catch a good amount of fish right near the resort!

I had some friends that stayed there a couple of years ago. They had caught lots of pike, some were real nice!! I beleive they rented some boats at the campground real cheap.
