I run a 17' Yar-Craft with an '02 2 stroke 75hp Merc tiller. I'd like to make/create/whatever a lockable side dash/console for my electronics and you have several listed on your HSOforum. I'm a bit apprehensive about hooking up the speedo, tach, and voltmeter - is there an easy way to rig my Merc without spending alot? I'd like to stay away from the dealer for installation, if you know what I mean...

You can use a Mercury harness with all the necessary wiring. It si not very difficult if you have some handyman experience or DIY practice.

I have few options, I know the distance is a problem, but if you can find a way to get here and choose, it will save you hundreds of $$$.
