Good lake Rainbow action today.

Bro' in law and I hit a small stocked trout lake today for a few hours and did pretty good, picked up 6 nice 14" rainbows. Ranging from depths of 30-50' of water. Key was to locate them on the flashers and drop the bait to them, once in a while you would find an agressive one. Good times.

What bait were you using? would like to try to get some lake action in before the rods and reels get replaced by the bow and guns

Crappie minnows were the ticket on fine wire hook with a few splitshot, ultralight gear of course.
