Tim Ellis
Could anyone help with directions to the best accessable boat landing near Carver, MN area? Is this section down to Belle Plaine navigatable with a 16'6" boat with 40 hp? Any help would be appreciated. I think there is some construction and would like to spend time fishing and not driving around.
hanson
You could launch in Carver (I think there is a launch there??) but you won't be getting much further upstream than the Carver Rapids. The next launch up is Jordan.Belle Plaine launch is closed right now.Belle Plaine cat contest is this weekend so I'd imagine the Jordan launch is going to be a zoo since the BP launch is closed. Papa Grump
I just drove through Jordan and it is full. You will have to park on the other side if you launch there. Carver has a access but your better off using the Chaska launch, plus it's only a couple of minutes to Carver. I don't think you can even get by the rail road tressle bridge anyway. Henderson would be the other option but your looking at a 35 minute trip wide open to the Belle Plaine area and quite frankly I would only run it with my River Pro with as shallow as it is. There are a couple of spots before Blakley that people are having to get out and push.

Nope, last time I was up to the bridge it was completely jammed up with logs and just a side stream going around the one end.
DTro
I couldn't believe how many vehicles were at the Jordan landing. Plump full with overflow to the west. Most I've ever seen.
