Off subject help!?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I know this isn't the correct forum to be posting this is, but I respect all the opinions of the people that do post on this forum, so I will ask anyway!

I have a friend coming to town this weekend that doesn't hardly ever fish. I would like to put him on some action so we can have a good time and make it memorable. I live in the Prior Lake area, so maybe Prior Lake would be a good place to think about. (Never been there) What other lakes nearby do you recommend for some good walleye, bass, sunfish action?!?!

Thanks!

Jordan

I enjoy(ed) fishing orchard quite a bit when I liven in the area. Fishing the docks on the launch side of the lake for bass was always really productive and that lake has (had) a reasonable tiger population.

I would recomend NOT going to prior on the weekend. The launches get so crowded that the wait is incedibly long and there won't be anywhere to park anyway.

I use to throw spinner baits on Lake Minnewashta (before my muskie addiction) and pick up a lot of pike and bass, rarely ever any big ones but it was always a fun day on the water.
