Rod Storage Ideas

Hey all. I need some idea's as to where I can add rod storage/vertical holders. I have an Alumacraft Trophy 180 walk through windshield. I'm looking for a stand up system that will be out of the way. My side rod storage is small. What is everybod doing?

I have mine stored vertically in front of the motor. I have a 16ft Starcraft fiberglass boat that has a large splash pan in back. It is a bad place for the rods because they are always in the way when fishing from the back of the boat. The problem is there is no other place to store them. If there is room you could try putting them near the windsheild to minimize the rods interfering with fishing. I would try and avoid storing them vertically if at all possible because I believe they will be in the way. Perhaps your boat's longer length and layout will allow you to store them vertically. I suppose how many people fish out of the boat and what type of fishing you do would affect how much they are in the way. Or maybe you could use the existing locker for the extra rods and use the vertical storage for the rods you plan on fishing with. I will be interested to see if someone has any better ideas that I can use too.

Cabela's has an 8 rod vertical rod holder that mounts in one of your seat posts. My wife and I have thought about it but haven't pulled the trigger yet
