Picture of a mushroom head jig

Does anyone have a pic of a mush-head jig for jig wormin? I have not been able to find one by name. Most sales reps don't have a clue. Also, what stores carry them?

TNFL- I use a "Money Jig", its made by outcast tackle.. this is what a mushroom head jig looks like

Otherwise there are a lot of good mushroom jigs out there, Gopher, Stamina, Northland... they all make good ones.. The northland one is pretty new and has a very cool plastic keeper hook as a part of it.

Double D do you rig that texas style or what? I fish southern MN where the weeds can litteraly take over the lake. Thanks

you would be surprised by how weedless they are, they rip through the weeds

You can rig plastics texas style with them but like ocf said they are pretty weedless as is.

no, I do not rig them weedless.. just rig them stright. Part of the alure of a jig worm is getting them stuck in weeds and having to rip them out.. thats often times when you get the bite.

It's been my experience that the longer shaft was very important to getting good presentation and decent hook-up percentage. There's a fellow out of New Ulm that has made his "boat fund" money fishing money tourneys with only mushroom jighead and a variety of plastics...amazing stuff.
