broncosguy711
Are you positive it came from right there? the best way to really test is to get in the attic and see where it starts. becasue it normally travels before it drops off to leak into the house or garage. that is the experiences I have had. I had one that traveled about 15 feet before it actually leaked into the garage. So there should be some type of trail some where. You can go in the attic and have some one spray from the top down as it could be that high.Broncs.

IFallsRon
Was the wind driving the rain when you got the leak? Sometimes a shingle will buckle in the wind and rain will get pushed underneath. Is this the first time you've noticed the leak? You should find some staining if it's not the first time. Do you have any stacks coming out of the roof in the general area? The flashing or tar seal may not be doing the job.

broncosguy711
OK from what you are describing is that it leaks when you spray up under the shingles. if you are spraying like that you can get leaks through the nails if you spray correctly over them or by a vent and such. the test is if you are spraying from the top down and have a leak then there is a cracked shingle, or the sealer has come off of something. where exactly is this leak by the house when garage buts up next to it? as could be a flashing issue? not sure. but location of where you think the leak is and such. because a wind storm can lift shingles and get water under there to create a leak, but nornmally a nice hot day should reseal that down. if that makes sense.Broncs.
