Bobberboy
I have a Garmin V I now see that Lakemasters has a map package for it. Has anyone seen or heard how its's working?"Your bobbers down!"
0 stellarfisher
For the V, I believe the software is older and more expensive ($200), or at least it was about 3 months ago. If the software is newer and cheaper (<$150.) I would say go for it cause the V is a good unit, and the software will be nice. However, it may be worth to think about selling the V and getting a new GPS if you really want the best software. I would recommend a lowrance H20 ($170) or the H2Oc ($270) and the lakemaster chip ($100). You could probably sell the GPS V for about $150-$200 online and put the money towards a newer GPS. 0 Bobberboy
I hear ya about the H2OC. One of the guys I work with has one. Very nice. The package for the V is about a 100 bucks now so to keep the wife happy and to quote the Stones "You can't always get what you want"
