bear204
Looking at this blind on the cabelas web site looks like everything a guy would need does anybody have one. Hows the fabric hold up any problems, and do the doors have bungy cords to hold them shut and pop open, Also looking at the s.u.b. blind by final approach scheels has one made for them thats a little cheaper thanks for any info
Rost
I was in your shoes last year at this time. I went to Cabelas with the intention to buy the Interceptor, but when I got there, the fabric was already ripped on the display model. The sales person gave me a wink and whispered "You don't want one of these". He said the fabric is not as thick as a FA or Avery. Who knows though, maybe they're not all that bad. I ended up going with the SUB from Scheels. I used it a lot last year with no problems. The only complaint I have is that it does not fold down as nice as my buddies Avery Finisher. Otherwise, I really like it!Good luck!
mngoosehunter
hey, i bought the interceptor blind last year. so far i like it. I have used it maybe 10 times and so far no problems. the only thing i dont like about it is at the end where the feet are theres no bar to hold up the fabric so your feet are always moving the fabric. there is bungees to hold it and pop open. i hope this helps. carpshooterdeluxe
i hunted a few times out of my bosses interceptor and it seemed to be of good quality. this fall i am going to abuse two new gooseview destroyers that i bought on close out for the price of one finisher. hopefully they withstand the abuse im itching to put them through! RogerMN
I bought one 3 years ago, it is not of the same quality as the name brands like FA, but it is big/comfortable and sets ups pretty fast. I do have some rips and seams tearing open. If you mud and grass it, it looks good. I will be buying a SUB this season and my kids will use the Interceptor when they go. Fish&Fowl
The interceptor I bought two years ago has been a great blind. Easy to set up and hunt out of. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you go Cabelas.
870Express
Just about everybody in my group hunts out of an Interceptor because it is the cheapest blind Cabelas offers. We haven't had any problems with the fabric. I'd strongly recommend the wheat stubble pattern over the chopped corn pattern, the corn is too light and sometimes hard to conceal. Make sure you mud them and you'll be more than happy.
