West metro eyes

Does anyone know of any decent walleye lakes around chaska or the west metro? I have had a hard time finding them this year and would like to hook up into some walleyes.

There are 3 lakes for Walleyes in the West Metro: Waconia, Minnetonka and Parley maybe 4 if you include Riley. None of them are going to give up Walleyes real easy right now especially with the heat coming through. Start at the shallow weed edges and work your way deep and in the weeds also.

Add Independence to the list. Walleyes can be caught this time of year but it isn't going to be a bonanza of action. Best time is sunrise and sunset so prepare to be sleep deprived.
